It wasn’t until just earlier this week that I realized the full, Harvest moon tonight will be in Pisces, but the turmoil that I’ve felt leading up to the moon in my Sun Sign has been tangible.
Fluidity and adaptability has been a lesson forefront in my life over the course of the last couple weeks – most definitely amplified by this powerful full moon in Pisces . My aqueous nature is normally very organic, easy-going, and fluid, but I’ve always struggled with setting sound boundaries to preserve aspect of myself and my happiness when others are trying to induce the change.
Pisces are an interesting school of water beings. We tend to be so easy-going with our uncanny ability to adapt to the dynamics of life seamlessly and seemingly effortlessly, though, what I’ve found in myself and other Pisceans, is that there is a point where we reach our limit. As this full moon approaches, I find myself in a place of contrast. I have loosened the reigns on aspects of my life that I no longer feel the need to control, while setting up healthy boundaries in other areas I have previously let control my happiness externally. Readjusting the balance of my illusive control to a place of harmonious dynamics.
I don’t think I’m the only one making this shift right now. As the moon pulls the tides, it also effects the currents in our lives. I’ve seen some very interesting shifts and waves in the people closest to me as we near this full moon in Pisces. Where can we become more fluid with the natural ebb and flow of life… because, as we all know, when you fight the undercurrent is when you get pulled under. Where can we loosen our stronghold on aspects of our lives that we can’t control anyway, saving our energy so that we can swim to new places, explore the peace of floating over the swells, and enjoy the empowerment of riding a wave instead of being bowled over by it.
Everything always comes full circle… I don’t believe in dichotomies. It’s time to find that connection point between where control ends and prostrate, open adaptability begins. The fish know exactly that place. Let this moon help guide us to own our understanding of organic fluidity within healthy and dynamic perimeters. Life is in flux … we can let go and drown from the waves created by others, thrash against the tides and fight in vain, or float atop the current while in peaceful acceptance of the fluidity of life, saving our strength for exploration and growth.
